We are both sought after tattoo artists. We even own our own high-end private tattoo studio. We have clients that travel from all over the United States to get tattooed by both of us. Each of us have our own private rooms to work, and offer a different esthetic than the average shop. Our goal with our studio was to change peoples perspective of tattoos, tattoo artists, and tattoo shops. We even have monthly art shows featuring different themes or solo exhibitions from local artist as well as artists from other states.

Because we own the studio and make our own schedules, we are very flexible. We can take turns working while the other cares for a child. The child will for sure spend time at the shop. Our clients are supportive and been with us for so long that they know about our journey and will be thrilled to be able to meet a child.

We have an easy going, creative, but also adventurous life style. We work during the week but make our own schedules so we for sure take time off to travel or do fun things.

One of our favorite things to do is go to the dirt bike track on the weekends. Jaden used to be a professional motocross rider before he started his tattoo career. Now it's more of a fun hobby that the whole family can enjoy. Jaden's brother rides, and his step daughters just recently started riding. Cora even gets on a bike every now and then! The entire family goes out to the track so its a fun activity we all can do together.

We love traveling. We make sure to take several trips a year even if it's not far away. While we live in a small town, we believe getting out and seeing what the world has to offer is important.

Even know we do a lot of active things, we enjoy days or nights at home hanging out watching TV on the couch with our puppy dogs.

Our fur children are very important to us and play a big part of our lives. They even have their own bedroom! We have three friendly dogs. An 11-year-old sassy German Shepherd Bella who loves playing and loves being around children. She's smaller than most German Shepherds and doesn't show her age one bit. Next we have Charles. He's a 130-pound good boy that Cora rescued from behind a tattoo studio she worked at. He is literally the best dog in the world and the most gentle giant you'll ever meet. He LOVES kids. When any children are around we don't exist and the children have Charlie's full attention. He follows them around or even leads them if he thinks they aren't supposed to be doing something. Then there's Winston...Winston is a 3-year-old crazy French Bulldog who we love very much. He is hilarious and every day is the best day of his life. He's easy going and does really well with kids. When our nieces or goddaughter are around, they put him on a leash and take off, its his favorite.

After living in several different homes we finally found our forever home and can't wait to share it with a child. It's located just outside of a small town in Texas in a gated golf course community. It's safe, quiet, and filled with children riding bikes and playing outside. Everyone is super friendly and go all out for each holiday. Walking around checking out the decorations is one of our favorite things.

Our house is in a cul-de-sac facing a beautiful pond. We have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a half acre fenced in yard. Our favorite room or area of our home is our open concept living room/dining/kitchen. We spend the most time here. Jaden and Cora are both artists and very creative so we make a lot of art and work on projects here while watching various shows. Jaden loves to cook, so there is a lot of delicious food always being made.

Our town is small but has everything we could need including our private tattoo studio. There are several parks and one of the top school districts in Texas. About 25 minutes away is a larger town that has even more parks, movies, restaurants, and shopping. A favorite thing of ours that's only 20 minutes away is a state park. We enjoy hiking, swimming, fishing, and camping here.

Jaden's parents live only 15 minutes from our home and our work. We see his mom almost every day. She is retired so she spends her time exercising or working in her yard. She cannot wait to be a Nana and spend as much time as possible with a grandchild. We spend a lot of time with both of Jaden's parents and even go on trips with them.

Jaden's brother and his wife live about an hour away and we see them every weekend or so. He has two younger step daughters and a baby boy on the way so there will be cousins around often.

One family tradition we have with Jaden's family is every Christmas we all get together and make a family recipe for fleischkuekle which is a German fried meat pie. Sounds weird, but we assure you it's delicious.

Something that makes our family unique is that we are a family of tattoo artists. Cora learned from Jaden's brother, then Cora taught Jaden. Even Jaden's parents have tattoos!

Cora's family has unfortunately passed on but between Jaden's family and some very close friends she is still surrounded by love and support.

Our family and friends are very excited and supportive of our adoption journey and cannot wait to see us become parents. We as well as our family believe that family doesn't have to be blood as long as there is love and support.

We met almost ten years ago at a tattoo studio when Cora was apprenticing under Jaden's brother. We quickly became friends and recognized familiarities in each other. Ambition, joy, work ethic, and passion for life. It took two years for us to actually begin dating but once we did, we knew we were meant for each other. Cora then apprenticed Jaden to become a tattoo artist as well. Now, we have been together for almost 8 years, married for almost 5, and own our very own tattoo studio and art gallery. People travel from near and far to get work from us and to experience our unique shop experience. Our values are aligned, we are clear communicators, we are very creative, we have a whole lot of fun and we laugh A LOT.

We tried having a child on our own for several years with out any luck and even tried IVF once but quickly realized that it didn't matter to us if our child had our DNA, we just know there is a child out there that is meant to be part of our family. Love makes family, not blood. Jaden was adopted by his stepfather and Cora was raised by her grandparents. While these are not the same type of adoption situations, we both never felt any different than any other children and always knew we were loved and wanted.

We have worked hard to create the amazing life we have and we can't wait to share it with our future kiddo! We want to enjoy seeing life through a child's eyes, child like wonder is unmatchable. Everything we do now, we wonder what it would be like with a child. From traveling, to hiking, to just hanging out at home with our dogs, or even imagining a child doing homework or an art project at our shop. We can't wait to share our life.

Once we become a family of three, we look forward to establishing our unique family identity. In the same way that we support and lift each other up in our marriage, we will do the same for our child. We will guide them in their growth and development to help them become the best they can be. Our biggest dream for our child is that they dream; that they discover what makes them happy. We will help them pursue and achieve their dreams, whatever they may be.

We plan on being very open with our child about their adoption story. We want our child to know that because of their birth mother's love for them, we were given the greatest gift of all. If chosen, we promise to always speak about you in a supportive and positive light. If you are open to sharing, we would love to get to know you and learn about you and some of your family traditions. We are committed to phone calls, emails, text messaging, as well as picture and letter updates, and are open to discussing visits in the future as well. Whatever you want or need, we are more than willing to accommodate.
