Michael & Andrea
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We are best friends who truly enjoy building a life together and making the most of every moment. We love to travel, spend time with loved ones, and fill our days with laughter and meaningful memories. Whether we are exploring somewhere new or enjoying a quiet evening at home, we are so excited to share a life full of love, support, and joy with a child.
What it Means to be a Parent
Becoming parents means building a life centered around love, connection, and showing up each day for a child. Danielle has dedicated her career to caring for children and helping them grow into healthy, confident individuals, and we both share a deep desire to provide that same love and guidance within our own home.
Family is a central part of our lives and our community. Many of our siblings have started their own families, and we look forward to a child growing up alongside cousins, sharing everyday moments and milestones together.
We love experiencing life together, both the routines and the bigger moments, and look forward to sharing that with a child. More than anything, we are excited to build a family, create traditions, and provide a home filled with love, stability, and belonging.
Why We Chose Adoption
We have always known that building a family would be an important part of our lives, and adoption has long been something we both felt open to. Danielle has health challenges that would make it unsafe for her to carry a pregnancy, and over time we felt a strong sense of peace that adoption was the right path for us.
Adoption also feels natural to us because it has been part of our lives. We have close family members who were adopted, and we have seen firsthand the love and connection that can grow through adoption. Danielle’s work with children and families has also shaped our perspective, showing us that families are built in many different ways, all equally meaningful and strong.
We feel ready to grow our family through adoption and are excited to share our lives with a child. We are committed to creating a home where a child feels safe, loved, and supported, while also honoring their story and where they come from.
Lifestyle

Our lifestyle is centered around hard work, balance, and being intentional with our time together. We are both in medicine and take pride in caring for others, while also prioritizing a stable and fulfilling life at home.
Most days, we come home, cook a meal together, and take time to unwind. We enjoy walking our dogs, staying active, and slowing down in the evenings. Danielle often ends the day with a good book, while Michael likes to listen to music to wind down.
We love to travel and spend much of our time visiting friends, exploring new places, and checking off bucket list experiences. Whether it’s a weekend getaway, a trip to see friends, or a fun event like a concert or comedy show, we value making memories and experiencing life together. Danielle also enjoys running and is often training for a race.
We have a large family and an even larger group of close friends, and staying connected is something we are intentional about. We are often planning dinners, get-togethers, or trips so we can spend time with the people who matter most to us. We work as a team to keep our home life steady and supportive, and we look forward to creating that same sense of connection and consistency for a child.

Our Extended Families

Family is a very important part of our lives, and we feel incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by a large, close-knit support system. Many of our family members live nearby, which allows us to spend time together often. Danielle’s siblings and parents all live in the same area, and Michael’s family is also close by, making it easy to stay connected and involved in each other’s lives.

We value time with family and friends and are usually planning something—dinners at each other’s homes, showing up for games, or gathering for holidays. Our family is loud, full of laughter, and always ready to celebrate, which makes every get-together feel fun and easy. Even on busy days, we find ourselves on the phone or stopping by just to stay connected.
Our families are incredibly excited about our adoption journey. They know how much we have wanted to grow our family and are so happy for us to become parents. This child will be welcomed with open arms and surrounded by constant love, support, and a strong sense of belonging from the very beginning.
Our House and Neighborhood

We live in Ohio in a close-knit, rural community where neighbors truly look out for one another. There is a strong sense of pride in our town, and families are deeply connected. We love celebrating holidays here—Easter, the Fourth of July, and Christmas are especially meaningful and are often celebrated in a big way with family, friends, and community traditions.
Our neighborhood is filled with families and children, and there are several parks nearby where kids can play and grow up together. One of the things we love most is how walkable our area is—we can easily walk to local breakfast spots, coffee shops, and restaurants, which makes everyday life feel connected and enjoyable. Our home is located on a private college campus, giving us access to sporting events and a lively, family-friendly environment.
Our home is a historic house with five bedrooms and three bathrooms, offering plenty of space to grow. It is warm, welcoming, and full of character. One of the most special parts of our community is that Danielle’s sister is the principal of the local elementary school, which is within walking distance from our home. We feel so grateful to live in a place where a child will be surrounded by strong relationships, support, and a true sense of belonging.
From Us to You

I don’t know your story, but I already have so much respect for you. This decision is not easy, and we hope you know that, no matter what, we are thankful that you took the time to learn about us and consider our story.
We’ve been married for 10 years this year, and over that time we have built a life filled with love, stability, and deep connection. We never imagined finding ourselves in this situation—a family with a missing piece—but we have come to believe that this time has prepared us in a meaningful way. It has allowed us to become more intentional, more thoughtful, and more grounded in what it truly means to become parents.
We have found so much love in our day-to-day lives, cultivating it through friendships and our families. Both of our families are close and involved, and time together is something we truly value. There are always birthdays to celebrate, holidays that we go all out for, and moments—big and small—that we make special. We picture raising a child in that kind of environment: one where they feel supported, celebrated, and deeply loved by not just us, but by an entire circle of people. Those are the moments that mean the most to us, and the ones we look forward to sharing.
If you choose us, your child will grow up in a home where love is shown in the little, everyday ways—morning hugs before school, conversations at the dinner table, and quiet moments at night. Our home is one where we talk things through, laugh often, and make space for each other’s feelings. We will encourage them to be curious, to explore what excites them, and to feel confident being themselves, while always knowing they are deeply loved and supported through every season.
We also want you to know that we will always honor your place in your child’s story. Your love and your decision are part of who they are, and we will speak about you with respect, gratitude, and honesty. We promise to send letters and pictures so you can see your child grow and know how they are doing. If you are open to it, we would welcome more contact, whether that be emails, phone calls, or even visits in the future. We believe that kind of openness can be meaningful and supportive for everyone, especially your child, and we will always approach it with care and respect for what feels right to you.
More than anything, we want you to know that this child would be deeply wanted and endlessly loved. We would do everything we can to give them a safe, happy home where they can grow, learn, and feel supported every step of the way. We will carry that responsibility with gratitude every single day.
Thank you again for taking the time to read this and for considering us. We are thinking of you and wishing you strength and peace in whatever path you choose.
With love and respect,
Michael & Andrea
