One of our favorite places to visit is New York City. We love the city for its incredible diversity, vibrant culture, and endless surprises. We love wandering through Central Park, watching the seasons change the landscape, and discovering little shops that feel like hidden gems. The architecture never ceases to amaze us, Devin could spend hours marveling at the Brooklyn Bridge. We also love exploring the food scene and quirky stores, always on the hunt for something new to taste or try. Of course, we take our pizza seriously and enjoy rating slices from different places. It's a delicious adventure every time. Museums, attractions, and street performances add even more to our trips, making the city feel full of stories. No matter how many times we visit, New York always manages to surprise us, inspire us, and remind us why we love exploring the world together.

What we look forward to most is the chance to share this city with a child one day, showing them the magic of the carousel in Central Park, introducing them to their first slice of pizza, and bringing them to the Natural History Museum to look at dinosaurs. We can’t wait to experience those discoveries again through the eyes of a little one, making new memories together in a place we already love so much.

Our home is happy and full of love; our dream is to share this with a child. We dream of everyday mundane activities with a child, making breakfast together on Sunday, family movie nights, and chaotic mornings getting ready for school. We want to share the joy of our home with a child, hoping to provide a safe, secure environment for them to grow and be provided with endless opportunities.

We’re excited about the idea of bringing them to sporting events, watching them build connections in the community, and traveling the world together. We love the idea of toys taking up the living room and small clothes filling up the laundry room. We are excited to grow our family through adoption, as we believe love grows stronger when it is shared. Ultimately, our shared dream is to become parents and to grow our family. We have so much room in our hearts and home to share.

Emma admires Devin for his kind and generous heart. He is a reliable partner who supports any dream or desire that Emma has. He goes above and beyond for those he loves. When Devin is playing with our Nieces and Nephews, he is goofy, playful and attentive, and he is responsible for so much laughter that fills our home. 

His ability to find positive solutions to problems and stay level-headed during stressful situations is what will make him a great father. He shows up for the people in his life and is an incredibly reliable partner and provider. 

Devin admires Emma for her creativity, thoughtfulness, and the care she shows to everyone around her. She is kind, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile to brighten someone’s day. Her emotional intelligence allows her to make others feel truly seen. Emma’s artistic spirit shines in everything she does. Whether she is sewing, crafting, or baking, she pours love into each gift she makes for family and friends. These qualities are also what will make Emma an incredible mother. She has a natural way of nurturing others, offering comfort, and encouragement whenever it’s needed. Her patience, warmth, and ability to connect deeply with people create a space where a child would always feel safe and understood.

Family means everything to us, and we feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by people who bring laughter, love, and support to everything we do. While Emma’s family mostly lives in Florida and Devin’s family is in Texas, we make a point to visit them or host them at our home multiple times each year. These visits are always full of connection, stories, games, and shared meals that remind us how important it is for a child to feel the warmth of an extended family.

One of our favorite memories was a big family trip to Disney World last year with Emma’s relatives. We spent a full week exploring the parks, laughing, and enjoying every magical moment together. Watching Emma’s niece and nephews experience Disney for the first time was pure joy, their excitement reminded us of the wonder and happiness we hope to share with a child. That week was so special that we decided to make it a new family tradition, one we look forward to continuing as our family grows.

Our families are excited about our adoption journey and can’t wait to welcome a child into our home. We imagine celebrating birthdays, holidays, and simple everyday moments together, creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. Growing our family is a natural next step for us, and we feel supported, encouraged, and loved by everyone around us as we prepare for this next chapter.

We have enjoyed living in Nevada and it has become a place where we feel truly comfortable. We live just outside a large city, which allows us to enjoy the comfort of a welcoming suburban neighborhood while still having easy access to a variety of family oriented activities in the city. The beautiful weather and abundance of outdoor recreation make it easy to spend time outside throughout the year.

Our community is very family focused and full of opportunities for children to play, explore, and stay active. Nearby parks, a pool, splash pads, and courts for tennis, pickleball, and basketball provide many options for families to enjoy time together. The neighborhood community brings people together through seasonal festivals, outdoor movie nights, and a weekly farmers market that we love visiting.

One of the features we love most is our large backyard, which sits right beside a walking trail that winds through the neighborhood. We enjoy taking our dogs for walks on the trail to see all the seasonal decorations throughout the neighborhood. Just behind our house is a playground, a space we can already imagine spending time with a child, exploring, laughing, and making memories together.
